Is it okay to eat sugary food if I have a canker sore?

-I went to the dentist and he told me I had an ulcer but I want ice creamusually a canker sore acts up from being stressed.sick or out in the sun too much..it is a form of the herpes virus..there are some OTC meds that can help with the pain..ask at the Drug store to find what is best for you...sugar will not affect it,but acidic foods & drinks can make it hurt more
