Can I wear Plano color lenses if I have an astigmatism?

-I have an astigmatism of .75 in one eye and 1.75 in the other. Would it be safe for me to wear Plano colored lenses so long as they are of the appropriate BC and OAD (I will be wearing my normal glasses so I am not worried about not be able to see - I just want some colored lenses) I would only wear them a couple times a month at most. Or is my astigmatism mild enough that I could get away with just lenses that correct my myopia? Thanks.Having astigmatism doesn't affect the fit of lenses , only the vision.



If you are wearing glasses over plano lenses , there is no problem.



We don't know your full prescription but 1.75 cylinder is too much to hide with regular lenses , so you either need toric lenses , or plano with glasses on top.
