Birth control question please help, 5 stars to best answer(:?
-this question revolves all around a pap smear. i am still a virgin, so i know it's not necessary to get one just to get on birth control.. but i heard after a year of taking a birth control (whether virgin or not) you mist get a pap smear? i heard this from a friend and she is a virgin and has been on the pill for about 2 months so she really wouldnt know.. but is this true? please help :)It is true, I have the Inplanon birth control and it is mandatory to have a pap smear. They have to check for infections, cysts, and pregnancy because birth control can make certain health conditions worse. Also, they have to make sure you won't be on your period for at least a week after starting a new birth control. It depend on your doctor, most doctors will require one right away, to make sure everything is ok. It could even be 6 months after you start taking it. Your doctor will still check even if you tell them you are a virgin. Because birth control can have side effects, and most girls lie to their doctors. It's better for you health
