Why does my throat feel real itchy and tight?

-My throat got something crazy going on with it it feel itchy and tight like what do this come from and what should I take or what should I dotake tynonnel or robitussen if dont get better go to doctorCould be a temporary sore throat or it could be the beginning of something else like pharyngitis. Take Tylenol for now and use antiseptic throat spray that you can get at the pharmacy to help dull the pain and gargle with salt water to help kill any infection that may be starting there. See the doc of course if it continues.
Gargle with an antiseptic solution to kill any bacterial infection you may have contacted. It may be strep. I have had success with a solution of 1/4 peroxide, 3/4 water. It will sting, but it works.
