Question about clear retainers?

-This is TOTALLY gross but usually I find my retainers filled with ants!!! Yes ants like the small black creatures with antennas!!! I use them daily and clean them everyday... I leave them in my closet far from any window or door after I wake up. Later on I come in the room and see ants pilling over my retainers... I rinse them out and clean my retainers for a long time.. I have lately been putting them in plastic bag and problem solved but sometimes I forget and again the ants are there...): WTH do the ants want to eat my retainers????um.. maybe there's traces of food on them? xD I use efferdent denture cleaner to clean my retainers every other day and it keeps it fresh :) Didn't your ortho give you a plastic container for your retainer? Put it in there instead.ummm wow. that is really weird. hmm well i hope you figure out what it is causig it. maybe put it in denture cleaner right when you take it out. or maybe not do that bc maby there finding your saliva sweet or your tooth paste sweet.
