-So this morning I had like barely 1/2 a cup of shreddies, and an orange. Then for a snack I had an apple. Then for lunch I had a ham and cheese sandwich with a banana. Then I went on a 3 and a half hour hike, I must have burned 600 or more calories. After that i realized I ate way too less calories and felt like passing out. For dinner I had 1 and a half bowls of taco salad. Just 5 minutes ago, I caved in on bryers chocolate ice-cream. I probably had at least a cup >.<
How bad did I do? I'm 5'1, 97 pounds and 13.Not bad as in too much, but maybe bad as in too little?
Not sure if you're trying to lose weight, but it seems as though you are consuming less calories that you burn. This doesn't mean that you consumed less than 600 calories. Think about it. At 13 with your height and weight, your bmr (the number of calories you body needs just to function, like breathing) is 1200. THis means that if you were to sit in bed all day, your body would burn around 1200 calories give or take. PLUS you burned 600 calories on top of that which brings you up to 1800 calories that will be burned. Therefore you should eat AT LEAST 1800 calories just to keep your energy going.
So don't be afraid to add a little extraChild, EAT. Your to young to be worrying about this kind of stuff! (:
